Did you read the test before the 10 minute mark? If it went past 10 minutes then that is an evaporation line (false positive)...
Did that faint line show up within a minute or two?
I know when you are pregnant and take a test ..a positive result will almost always show up right then within a minute.
The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

No matter how faint the line is, it means you're pregnant. When I took one of those plus or negative ones the one light was super faint, but I was pregnant. Look on the information sheet that came with the pregnancy test, it will show you that a faint line means pregnant. Goodluck, and congrats.

I had this happen when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I wasn't sure either so I went straight to my doctor who confirmed that I was indeed pregnant.
The reason for this is your HCG levels. That is the hormone that is present when you are pregnant. Early on in your pregnancy you have low HCG levels, which is what the test checks for. That is why the line is faint. If you take another test later on it will be a much darker line because the test will detect more HCG.
Good luck!

Yes, a faint line is usually a yes. Wait three days and test again or go to your doctor and tell them you got a faint line.. they will do a blood test on you which is more accurate. Normally the only difference between a faint line and a negative pregancy test is a woman's imagination... so get someone else to look at the test if you're not sure you see it. Congrats.

Yes. That's how I found out I was pregnant with my son. I called the 1-800 # on the box for the same faint line. The lady said "if there is ANY discoloration you are pregnant." I kept saying "but its only a little" We went in that same circle for awhile,,,I was in denial. But, if you have a pink second line the only thing I can say is Congratulations!

Yes, I did with my first two pregnancy tests, I took three total and the first two were very faint, I am now seven weeks pregnant. I had also taken them before my missed period so that could be the reason it was lighter then it should be, that might be your case, so no matter how faint it is if it is there then it is a positive.

I had that same light line and i was pregnant,so you probably are very early and it only picked up a slight amount of HCG.
