funny you should ask because I hate doing them
I feel that the stinking store should simply give you that much off when they scan the bloody item
though they aren't that much more work to fill out and send it, they are still inconvenient and as a customer I should be satsified and things should be made easier when purchasing because afterall I earned the money to buy the product, why should I be given more work to do
also you have to come up with the money first and then you get some of it back... I hate this concept and it pisses me off most of the time LOL U?

If it's a decent amount of money , most definitely.
I got a hundred dollar rebate back from TiVo and a $50 rebate from Verizon Wireless....sooo worth the hassle.

I don't bother with the small ones, waste of a stamp and time! I did a Canon rebate for $100 and then completely forgot about it. It's kind of a nice surprise when you finally get the check in the mail!

I usually just buy stuff on sale.
Now, if I got a rebate or return on a mate, I would keep the receipt and send in the paperwork, it might be worth it.
Don't you wish Life came with a guarantee or at least a rebate?
Sometimes I wish I knew why you ask the questions you ask D/W.
On the up side, I get to keep answering, thanks.

No because by the time you get the rebate the item you bought is already broke. 6 to 8 weeks more like 6 to 8 years

A mail in rebate is one the position you ought to fill out a variety they furnish you with or have you ever print off, then you actually mail it to anyplace it tells you to and also you also in a number of of situations contain the upc code from off the field. it would want to take countless weeks or months to obtain the rebate. Many time you not in any respect get it.

I tell myself that I will and then never get around to it. Then later I find the form and realize that the deadline has passed. I feel like an idiot for about two minutes and then move on to the business of letting something else slide.

No and Yes. No, if the amount is minimal (under $5). Yes, if it is a larger amount. But I usually still have to wait four to six weeks to get the money back and in some cases the manufacturer tried to cheat you out of it.
