Given the concern over World crude oil production versus consumption, massive trade imbalances, politcal unrest throughout the world and dwindling resources, do you think civilization will survive much longer?

Should a collapse be inevitable, what do you foresee for our future?

What makes you think we're living in a civilized world now? If we were truly 'civilized' there wouldn't be wars and hatred and bigotry. You wouldn't have the likes of a drug-infested Rush Limbaugh spreading toxic poison about Muslims, Jews, liberals, homosexuals, and others that don't fit his conservative 'profile'. In fact, if Limbaugh and the Nazi-inspired Fox "News" channel continues much longer, it will become 'acceptable' for American conservatives to abuse, torture or kill anyone whom they don't believe subscribes to their political persuasion. -RKO-

This kinda cr*p has been going on since there were more than 5 people on this earth.

At this point I don't think we're the least bit civilized anyway.

I can only see things surviving if there is a major catastrophe where several million people die; and we start all over.......There is just tooooooo much.........greed........ and chaos; that is the only way anything can change.
