Identify your skills and plus points. Any kind of profession is good and dignified - teacher, secretary, nurse, interior designer etc. - depending on your skills. Acquire new market oriented professional skills if necessary. And being a single mother, select a profession which gives you sufficient time to look after your kids as well.

Hi,
I am a single mother. teaching profession is the best, as you get satisfaction of job(provided u r qualified professionally), and taking up tuitions at home adds more earning.U can spare time with your child/children, inculcate human values in them. Its the most dignified work for a single woman who is playing the role of both mother/father for her children/child.

A single mother can take up any profession which suits her skill and training, provided the children are atleast of school going age. Until the children are at school, they require your nurturing and attention. Do not leave it to third parties.

LAWYER, hand down the best. set your own hours, make good money, and be able to direct your anger at your exes on really hard cases.
Need a bachelors degree and a high score on the LSAT and you are in.
Some law schools will take you wih just 3 years of college. Look around, talk to your college counselor.
Good luck.

How does one define "BEST"? There once was a President of the United States of America who had a prob with the definition of the word, "IS". The most popular profession, if you want to call it that, is PROSTITUTION. But that doesn't necessary mean that you have really defined "PROSTITUTE" per se. It really all depends on what the true meaning of the word, "BEST" is.
