No, there is no such thing. Let's think logically. If there is this special someone that we are meant to be with, what are the chances that they happen to live nearby? That special someone could be in Africa for all you know but you probably will never go there and you will never meet this person. Maybe there are soul mates or special someones with an "s". But to imply there is this one special person, probably not. If there is, the chances of finding this person is worse than lotto so you will never find this person and is really like there is no such thing. If a tree falls in a forest and noone is there to see it, does it still fall?

I think there definatly are people out there that you are meant to be with, although I am not convinced that there is only one person you can connect with. In my opinion, as I believe I have found my soul mate, a soul mate is someone who is your best friend in the whole world that you love and loves you without limitations or expectations. I believe I was meant to be with my soul mate forever, but if something did happen, I do think it is possible to find another.

Corny, as that MAY sound, I do believe the answer is Yes.
I never thought I would meet that special person and when I did, it
was like someone had written the book already. Well, at the end of the day I knew it was God.
My husband is perfect for me in everyway and I am for him as well.
We have the same mind-set and thinking - sometimes we will both say the same thing at the same time.
We have the same interests and enjoy the same music
and our childhood was touched with similar experiences and we share many of the same goals and values.
We could both hear a piece of music and remarkably just "melt"when we do hear it.
I believe God designs a particular person for each and everyone of us.
I didn't believe it at first, but now I do after nearly 10 years of marriage.
The key is - Just be yourself(as corny as that sounds) it's true and you will attract the person that falls in love with a mirror-image of themselves.
I don't believe in "opposites attract".
Good luck hope that helps!

The principal of the creation of the soul mate is a truely lovely story I would love to believe it can happen and part of me (the romantic )does believe it
I have experienced what I thought was my soulmate but I was in a relationship then so maybe the timing was wrong ...if it was right ...we would be together now

I think when people think about a soul mate they think about a really special person they can spend their lives with, a person who you feel you know so well and vice versa that you know them by heart, someone who you connect with on every level...sometimes we meet someone we consider to be a soul mate because we feel we can share everything with this person...except there might be a possibility that this person is spoken for...does that mean they are not our soul mate?...or does it just mean someone else has beaten us to it?........

I believe that because I found mine. It's not something I've always believed. I've went through several bad relationships and had given up on finding the right person. That's when he walked into my life. And as happy as I am I feel like it was meant to be.

Oh Yes most definitely it took me 32 years and 2 bad marriages to find him but when I did it was magic. When someone touches you and your whole body sighs with contentment(nothing sexual) when you wake up in the morning and look over at them and think how lucky you are. When a kiss melts you makes you feel as one. When you don't know where you end and he begins. When they are your best friend, your lover, your husband, the one person you know you can turn to anytime. Well you get the idea

I believe in soul mates, cause I just found mine..
I do think that maybe there is more than one person in this
world who *could* be a soulmate for a person, but oh yes, they do
exsist...

Yes I do. I didn't believe so before I met him. But he completes me. I know he is the other part of my soal I have been searching for. What we have goes beyond love.
