This is definitely a scam. I get about five per day.
Just delete it and ignore it..

Sound too good to be true? Then it probably is. My bet is you did not even enter a YAHOO LOTTERY PROMOTION 2006. Looks like a scam.

do not give them your name soc sec # or bank account #'s
If you did not sign up for it then you didn't win, plain and simple.
I got a $3000 check two months ago and almost cashed it, then said I wonder if this company is even real (the one the check was wrote on) it was real, but not a lottery company, an air exchange company. WEIRD repart the email as spam and thank god you were too smart to lose your savings to scam artists

Not true but if you're doubtful contact Yahoo customer service and ask them.
Think about it logically a lottery promotion that's never been advertised? when we all know how big Yahoo is on advertising

it normally has viruses
and sometime when u try to claim the prize they charge u money
