According to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the average IVF cycle costs $12,400. I don't know if this figure includes medications, as many clinics do not include this in their estimate.
Whether your insurance will cover IVF depends on your employer and the state you live in. About 15 states have infertility treatment mandates that require most HMOs that cover pregnancy to also cover infertility treatment. If you are not fortunate enough to live in one of these 15 states, there are several grant programs to pay for treatment and medication:

Why not adopt rather than brag to the world about having resources - many poor children could use the $10,000+ that would be spent on an IVF procedure. If your partner's sperm and your egg were not meant to become a baby - perhaps a child who needs a loving home could fill that void. Contact the Department of Social Services in your area.

I looked into this myself. It was 18 grand in boston, Mass. 18 grand for the process. $50 per frozen embryo per month and $1000 if they need to inseminate you again.( If the first time doesnt get you pregnant.) They also said if a miscarraige or some type of defect were to happen you would recieve half of the 18 grand back. In my opinion 9 grand is alot to spend on natural problems. It is possible that an insurance company may cover some, but not many do. Anyway I hope this helped, good luck!

In Canada, the cost for a single cycle of IVF is around CAD$5,000, depending on how much additional "work" you need, such as ICSI, embryo hatching, etc. The drugs may cost between CAD$3 - 5,000, again depending on your age, how much of the drugs you need, etc. Canadian health insurance programs will often pay for most of the drugs you need, and the IVF cycle itself, whilst not insurable, is tax-deductible!

It depends where you are. A number of Brit couples are going to Germany, Holland and even further east into such countries as Estonia, Poland and The Ukraine in their desire to have a baby by IVF. Have a look at the link below, and good luck.

IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

My husband and I, when ttc, went to the fertility center in Nashville, TN. There fee was $10,000 ~ which included everything they had to do, the shots to get your body ready, the lab charges, doctors fees....etc. For every woman there is a different percentage chance of it working or not. My chance was only 18-25% and we decided it wasn't enough in our favor to go through it. Of course, I also was upset with my fertility doctor because there were other, less costly procedures, that I wanted to try, but he kept telling me this is the only way for me to get preg but it was still 18-25%! Good Luck to you.

I thought the following sites might give you more answers.

It's about $16,000 per time you do it and there's only a 25% chance of getting pregnant.
