everytime i put up a question nobody even reads the whole thing and then they make smart comments. itreally makes me mad. exspecially when i have to use this program for my job, because sometimes i have to give surveys and stuff and they make me put them on here. it is important and i really wish people would be more serious about it.

i do take people seriosly but sometimes there is not enough detail so u dont know what they want and u just have to guess. and most people just want the points and not actually help other people so they just write anything. Try to just say that this is important to u and maybe they will try to be more serious (although i doubt it, for somepeople its just one more reason to say something pointless) So i really cant think of anyway to solve ur problem. sorry (but if u need some surveys filled out just email me (FinnValentine@gmail.com) with the survey or just to tell me that u put one on here. im always happy to help hope i did.

Don't feel too bad. I just got an e-mail from some punk that didn't like my avatar. Who knows why. The other day i answered this ladies question about why she was even on Yahoo Answers. I'll post the question below and you can check it out if you want. There are too many idiots on here that think they can harass and bully others because they can't deal with people in the real world. We can deal with the people who don't agree, it's the troublemakers that need to go.

I feel your pain. I have had good results in the questions I have asked or have had asked for me. I guess the trick is to really ask the right questions. You are going to get a lot of garbage answers if the subject is one that is prone to people not really looking to be helpful. ie. entertainment, TV, etc.
Try to really narrow your questions and think of the target audience you want to be answering your questions. I use a lot of big words or detailed descriptions when asking my questions.
Little kids don't understand the question and move on.
Good luck, don't give up yet. Yahoo answers is new and still loaded with those who still think it's cool to be part of the problem and not the solution.

Either they dont know of an answer to give, they give smart comments to everyone, or they are just answering for points only. Also sometimes people tend to word their questions in a way that cant be take seriously.

I answer seriously, if it is a serious Question. But as I always say"Life is Pain" People enjoy giving other People a hard time. Sorry if that makes You angry.

Maybe next time you can specify that it's a serious question and ask for serious answers only. This won't completely eliminate the silly answers you get but it can help.

Some people can be insensitive and take everything as a joke. I, for one, will give a smart*** answer if it is a smart*** question. But if you put that you are doing it for your job, more than likely people will respond accordingly.

Depends how the question is worded and spelled. Some questions are just crying out for sarcasm, especially if they read as patronizing, condescending or just plain stupid; or if asker hasn't bothered using the spell checker.
