Nope, unfortunately life and who I am set me on a path i DID NOT want to be in...and given my attitude and my ambition, i'll always have room for better.....and until i fulfill my ultimate goals will I ever satiate my ambitious hunger....and then i'll possibly find another goal to fulfill after that. Death is my only stopping point, and until that point i'll always try to do more, or better. Be it for me, or for other people.

For the first time in life, I am exactly who I want to be. In high school I was a smart mouthed, lazy, rebellious c student. When I graduated, my dad told me that i would fail out of college, and would fail at life because I was a brat that expected to get everything for nothing. He refused to pay for college. This is the only time I've ever heard my dad say something cruel to one of his four kids (though it was true). The rebellious in me kicked in and I was determined to show him. I worked 90 hours a week that summer for minimum wage. And that fall, I learned how to study. When my dad got my grades, he literally had to sit down and put his head between his legs (he was feeling faint). Then he told me he was proud of me. I am going to graduate next year as an honor student with two degrees(not just majors), with a 3.9+ GPA and a volunteer seal. This is not why I am who I want to be though, its cause I am proud of myself too! Plus I have the BEST friends and boyfriend ever!

Similar to you. But perhaps less pride and lots of gratitude. I have had a charmed life in many ways but financially it is not full. I 've had lots of travel and experiences that are like magic and am so thankful for the many blessings.

I think what life let me be.
I got pregnant at 24 and was not expecting it(not married) but totally accepted what it meant and I couldn't be happier or prouder or my 10 year old today! I love being her mom and I think I turned out to be a pretty good one!

I have had everything I wanted in life, just not all at the same time
at this point in my life, I am shaped by the happenings of my life,
and not shaping the happenings of my life.
