Since we are making "observations" let me give you one of mine. Anytime someone starts out with "I don't like to stereotype women but . . ." , it means that they are going to do just that.
Some people only see what they want to see, and that is where stereotyping comes from. You think you are right, and that is really sad.

No. I don't get into other people's business. If they want to tell me, fine, but other than that, I could care less. I don't compete with other women and I am not a ***** at all. Even when people run over me, which they do quiet a bit. Women obsess about their weight because of men and the so called actresses. They put what they think a woman is suppose to look like in magazines and women feel that they should have to look like that too to be sexy. Yes every woman wants a fairytale. Why not? That is also what women are brought up with. They are told fairytales and given dolls to play with. Which I think is crap. They are preparing girls at a young age to care for children. Where in the hell is their childhood? Don't know what your talking about with the positions. Se*? Yes, there is some ways that women prefer and that is to stimulate their happy place, if not, they don't get anything out of it. I really don't talk that much either. And so what if they talk alot? Is it going to kill you to listen to your significant other? If so, you don't need to be with them then. Not all women are what you describe here. If that is the only women you know, maybe you need to look somewhere else.

That stuff only happens in high school and when girls are too immature to know any better. Except the talking part. That gets even worse the older you get! And yes, every lady loves a prince!
As for the rest, well, I can't say it in less than 1000 words so I'll just stop here.
: )

You need to come to the Bahamas where the men get in on the action too. I think it is cultural. In the US and most "rich" nations, women are taught to be a certain way and to desire certain things. The new trend is a man with tons of money who will buy you plenty of bling for slapping your booty cheeks together.
It is sick...if you have daughter, raise them to want more from themselves and for themselves.

hmmmm . . . I think you are meeting the wrong women. Yes there are a lot of those stereotypes out there -- just like there are for guys who play the field, live beyond their means, drive fancy cars, and treat women like sh*#. What I have found is that is true for women in their 20's or younger. And if a women acts like that in their 30's and older, then it's rediculious.
There is a flip side to this too -- some guys LIKE to date girls like that. All of the girls I know who act like that are either in a serious relationship, engaged, or married already. All the the smart, educated, career minded women I know are single.
I think it goes both ways.

Let me guess....... you are a middle age man with no real experience in a healthy long term relationship, you are not physically fit so you try to compensate with a hard a** attitude about women to feel better about your short comings. Do I have it right so far? Maybe you have been overlooked by the women that you are attracted to and you feel a need to bring all women down a notch so that you can prove it wasn't your fault.
Thats to bad you need to work on your self esteem.

To a degree. Women do compete with each other, which is sad. Some do desire positions of importance, while others are content to remain in the background. I think my generation of women are happy to do for themselves(I am 29). It is nice to be treated like a Queen, but also nice to know you can do for yourself. As for weight, appearance, clothing etc, it is unfortunate what society does to women. They try and dictate to us what is beautiful and acceptable. I think some women knit pick because they feel bad about themselves and try to make themselves feel a bit better by trashing someone else.

honey, you can turn that around, it sounds like a lot of men I know. Women are as human as men and we want the same thing as men. Men want the princess, money, kingdom, etc. they compete among themselves, talk too much, men are as curious about other people's affairs, etc. and although the items we obsess other (shoes, instead of power tools) men are just like us in obsessing over stuff.

You sound like the woman that always marries the alcoholic or wife beater. She picked him. And you are picking those women. So what's up with you that you attract those type of women? Your are describing a small part of the female population; the majority are not what you are describing here.

I'm a woman.
What I want:
Attention
Affection
Attraction
If you give us these things, we won't obsess about our weight or draw attention to our faults.
We're communicators. We like to talk. If you can't handle that, you won't be able to handle us.
We're made women to complement men. Be a man and learn to deal with us. You'll be glad you did. (But stay away from the crabby ladies. You can't change a man and you definitely can't change a woman!)
