I am in grade 7 and at my school i not have many friends because most of girls there are always swearing and trying to be cool i even know some who smoke and even drink (!!!) They act all smart to teachers and think they funny but theyr not. I am not cool enough i guess i have early curfew and dont get dress same way and if i was acting like that at home my mother would spank me! Do parents just not care? Do that annoy aneone else???

Hun,be glad you dont act that way.Also,be grateful for your parents putting some sense into you as you were growing up.Children who act out that way,are simply trying to fit in.They do not act that way around their parents,i can almost guarantee it.Most parents dont realise it is happening to their children until its too late.Most parents are busy with their jobs and simply dont have the time to keep an eye on their children 24/7.Be proud because you seem as if you have a strong head on your shoulders,and that will benefit you throughout your life.The other children in your school havent matured yet,and they think that acting cool in highschool is more important than morals.In highschool they may seem "cool",but once they get out in the real world,they wont be so "cool".Embrace the fact you can get an education.Take advantage of it,and keep that strong head.It will get you far.Way to go hun,it is way cool that you are not just trying to fit in and become popular.No one remembers those who simply "Fit in",but they remember those who stand their ground and stand out!Have a good day!

Jae your parents love you and want the best for you! You said yourself that some of the girl swear-smoke and drink-and think they are smart. You don't think that they are funny when putting on such a show! You are right-YOU are way more cool then those silly acting girls! Be glad that you have good parents that want the best for you! You are setting a good example for the other girls around you! It can be good to be unique!

Because you're being raised properly. I was in the same spot while being raised. Those who don't have prober raising turn out to be smokers (YUCK!!), don't try to "act" smart, be yourself, drinking is bad for the liver, acting smart to the teachers can lead to trouble. They sound like what we call (in our town) "trouble makers". Don't say your not cool, you have friends, decent friends.
I was raised the same way as you say that you are, it kept my a$$ out of jail, never in trouble with the law & teachers had very little trouble with me.It sounds like you're being raised properlly. I know the feeling, but wait till your in your 20's & older (I'm 42), you will see, try raising kids.. say 2 kids and raise one the way you're being raised, the other just let go. I gaurentee the one you just let go will be in trouble all the time.
If these "friends" jumped of the empire state building, does that mean you have to do the same?

Hon - you just stay the way you are. You're way more cool than those "chicks" and you will grow up to be a fine lady who won't have any problem getting a job, a husband [if you want one lol], picking good friends or achieving whatever your goals are. Be the different one. It'll pay off many times over.

Youre a lucky lucky girl that your parents love you enought to expect something better of you.
The world wont be such a brazen shock to you when you reach adulthood, where as these girls probably wont survive the change.

the reason you dont get to act like that because you are goin to have a better future ... and you wont end up knocked up at 16.... so thats why... because you are better than them and you are gonna be better than them.... so when you are a high buinisess person makin hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and they are workin ate mcdonalds or at a strip club... you can rup it in their face and you will be thankful you didnt act liek them ....
and sometimes the parents really dont care.....

You are very lucky. My kids are raised the same way as you. A lot of parents these days are just very confused. Be glad yours are not.

What really annoys me is hearing that stupid high-pitched loud pig sounding laugh down the hallway. Stupid girls. They seriously don't know anything.

There are always going to be rude people in your life in some form. I have co-workers like that. They annoy me but I ignore them because who are they to me anyway?! Just ignore them. You don't need their approval.
