I want to wear my veil. So what if you think it anti-social or bloody rude, I live in?

Britain in my own small Islamic state and so why should i give a toss about what the rest of the country thinks? Don't people realize that Britain will soon be run by Muslims and we will all have to wear a veil or be punished?

I am sure you are not Muslim, any ways why talk to someone you cannot see...in some Muslim countries no-one can walk with out a veil so enjoy your freedom...on Sunday I saw a girl who was veiled and was trying to enter the tube without paying, so wearing the veil does not mean nothing. It does not prove religiosity. But the veil is subjugation of women to the point that they have to make themselves not visible (it means they are a shame, they only belong to the domestic sphere to the men they married!) because man are so bestial they are going to rape them, it is ridiculous.....

First of all you are not Muslim, why do you need to wear a veil unless you are hiding from something or someone. Your question has been put in a way to steer hate and encourage bad comments. I do not want UK to be an Islamic state, you guys do not know how serious what are you doing and saying will lead to!

This country is going quickly towards a disaster steered by the British media (like Sun, daily Mail,...) and by the extreme right wing BNP type SH*T illiterate thugs. You are destroying the live together culture in the UK, there has never been any serious incidents before 7/7 between British non Muslims and Muslims. One word: WHAT??? Britain will not "soon be run by Muslims" and we will not "all have to wear a veil or be punished". Your question is possibly the most ridiculous I have ever taken the time to answer, but I feel it should be answered. If someone from Britain went to a predominantly Muslim country we would be expected to respect the cultural differences, yet you are acting as if you should show complete disregard for British culture. One thing that does strike me about some, and I do emphasise the word some, who wear the veil is that their eyes are always beautifully decorated yet the whole idea is to prevent the females being looked at lustully, is it not?. The idea of punishment is also preposterous, indeed almost as preposterous as punishing Scots for not wearing kilts all the time!! Go and learn some courtesy, and stop giving the many idiots out there who are anti-muslims any more ammo!!

You give a powerful example as to why Islam should not be allowed to become any further embedded in this country if you are a typical Muslim (which I do not think you are). You give further fuel to those wishing to outlaw the practice of wearing the complete veil altogether. You've had a lot of responses to your question. Why should you give a 'toss'?!? Does your mosque know you use language like that? I guess that does make you 'bloody' rude. You hide behind a warped understanding of your own Quran, you hide behind a ridiculous idea of what a small islamic state is and you hide behind a really ill-informed idea of what this wonderful country will be in the future. It will NEVER be an islamic state, so I know that I will never be punished for not wearing a veil. Even if they did make it compulsory for males. Given all those other things that you hide behind, you might as well hide behind your veil as well, while you can. Its people with opinions like yours that will soon make them illegal in this CHRISTIAN country. We took you in and looked after you. We respected your faith, and allowed you to freely practice it, even in its most extreme forms.You will soon find out what happens when you throw all of that back in our faces. Enough said.

Okay: Bad idea saying Muslims will rule Britain, that will only serve to bring you more hatred. You must think of what the black people did back in Martin Luther King's time. Be patient, calm and try to be friendly. Sooner or later, the society will accept you. Responding with violence and hatred gets you nowhere.

what you are suggesting will never happen. Do not underestimate the British people. If you want to wear a veil , that is your choice, if you were in a muslim country, you wouldn't have a choice. Women in this country are not treated as second rate citizens as you are in a Muslim country. Why did you come to Britain in the first place?
