You can if you want, but at 38 wks I'd probably say lay off as that should send you in labour for sure and you arent due yet. The last few wks are really important for your baby as it's his/her lungs that are last to develop. Rest up and save the sex for later!

Absolutely!! In fact, having sex may actually push you into labor. That is one of the things that doctors will tell you to do when you are ready to have the baby and you want to try and hurry things along.
Good luck.

Having sex is fine as long as your water did not break and you arent resticted from your Doctor. Sex can actually help those contractions start again.

definitely. as long as your dr hasn't said not too. It will help bring back contractions. make sure he finishes in you. there is something in the "residue" that urges the body to contract. Plus, You're pretty much full term.

If your waters have broke then no its not safe because the protective barrier between the child and the penis isnt there anymore and can cause serious health concerns, as well as infection.

you betchya. The only time they suggest not having sex is after your water has broke.
ITs GOOD for you. Helps you, him, and the baby, and encourages labor.
