How do I keep others from downloading pics that I share with them on messenger to their computer.

I am sorry to tell you this but you can't stop them from downloading them once you have shared them via a messenger. The messenger thinks you wish to fully share the photos and files you send through the software program and so it give a link to the person you are sharing with to download onto their system. If the person is a friend or family member I suggest you just tell them you do not want them to download the photo only share it while using the messenger. If they respect you they will not keep photos or files you only want to show them not give to them.
