I don't believe in "luck" which implies something that comes from no where. I believe in blessings, miracles, gifts, and the rewards of our efforts. But sometimes I still find myself saying to someone 'Good luck!' because there's nothing else I can think of...can you think of a phrase to replace this?

I'm in the same boat as you, I don't believe in luck.
Generally I'll say something like, Be blessed; or I trust all goes well; or Best to you; or May it go your way......

1 with luck you'll make it: good fortune, good luck; a fluke, a stroke of luck; informal a lucky break. ANTONYMS bad luck, misfortune. 2 I wish you luck: success, prosperity, good fortune, good luck. ANTONYMS failure, misfortune. 3 it is a matter of luck whether it hits or misses: fortune, fate, destiny, Lady Luck, lot, the stars, karma, kismet; fortuity, serendipity; chance, accident, a twist of fate.

I always like the simple..."smile". Telling someone to smile, means a lot. You hope they are happy, hope they are enjoying life or the situation you are speaking about. Because when you tell someone Good Luck, you are basically telling them that you wish the best for them and that you hope things go their way so they will be happy and simply telling them to smile will sum it all up! ~Smile!

luck\chance does not exist since if it did it would negate the law of 'cause and effect'...rather say to the person "what you sow is what you reap, i hope you have sowed well so that you may reap well too..." (short and simple)

What's keeping you from saying "God bless you"?
I say it all the time and I mean it every time I say it.

Here I go now - God bless you!

Hold your hand up with the palm facing away from you and fingers extended upward but held together.

Now, seperate your fingers between the middle one, and the one next to your pinky. Your fingers should form a single "V" at between those two fingers.

Now repeat after me...

"LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!"
