i have been deceided to open a dance school to teach dances privately. i would like to know is there any formalities to be done according to the indian costitution.

There isn't a legal formality i believe.... if you are providing any kind of service you have to register with the service tax and central excise dept. tho. have fun teaching and good luck with everything =)

Private dance teaching may not
be allowed as it often patronised
Mujra and Prostitution.

It has to be a public affair. You may put
advertisement in news papers for
your school.

You have to get a registration with
the local Minicipality or the shop and
establishment authorities. It should not
create nuisence in the locality-
by noise pollution, crowd assembly
problems, parking problems.
You may have to ensure that the
school does not teach beyond
normal time limits. You may have to inform
the police formally about your intentions,
so that upon suspicion, they can come
and inspect your modus operendi.
Income Tax registration for service
tax is a mandetory and copliances
be done.
