I love it its definately got better over the years, does anyone else agree with me......

Not anymore!!
I used to watch it for years then i stopped, around the time Polly and Dave were getting together etc.
Now im addicted, quite sad really. I started watching it on UK Gold, i record it on my Sky plus and then watch loads of episodes at once. I hate Gabriel, i soooo want him to get whats coming to him. Gina Gold, she is cool, i didnt like her as Irene in Eastenders but she has got a likeable character now.
So now im watching the up to date episodes on ITV and also have started renting the first seasons DVDs, canny believe how young Jim Carver & June Ackland look.
So you are not the only one, there is me..you want to start an appreication club??LOL

The Bill is one of the most-frequently-watched programmes on telly. It gets 5-7 million viewers each time an episode is aired (even repeats!).
I think it would be better if they didn't have it scheduled so much. Then the writing team could really work up some cool storylines, rather than bash out what they can in a hurry.

Is the Bill still going? Remember when it was the walking feet at the beginning, those were the days. I heard a rumour that it's impossible to whistle or hum the music to The Bill and it was written that way on purpose so you couldn't sing it at the real Bill when they walked past. Oh well, enjoy....

yes ur the only one and no it's carp there all a bucnh of sex mad weirdos in there bring back the old bill these days its more to do with the officers lives rather than the crimes whereas before it was about crime which was kinda the point! hmmm

i watch it as well although it has had its ups and downs over the years with regards to their storylines but just recently they started to improve again and now u r beginning to understand the characters alot more as we see them at home as well as at their work place but if its not careful it will become a soap rather than a drama series
