A membership website. Does anyone know of a good hosting company to set it up for me. I want a good professional site too not some cheap looking thing that looks like it was put together in 20 minutes.
I dont mind to pay either as long as its not £1000 or something expensive.

Nearly every other person seems to be a part time web designer. If you chose a reputable firm on the internet you'll probably not get more than one page for a £1000. Go locally, someone you know.

Or try me, www.stuartcarter.co.uk

The cost is directly proportional to the time it takes to create. If your needs are complex, or you can't make up your mind what you want, it'll cost you more.

To reduce costs it's best to do as much work yourself (i.e. designs, logos, what links go where etc) and say to the web designer - this is how I want it to be.

If you're willing to pay then why not hire a web developer for a week or so, you'll definitely pick one up for a grand

I would suggest looking into www.excelyourbiz.com, they show you how to build and promote a professional looking website. Its inexpensive and easy to do, you dont need to be a computer whiz to build one and they show you everything you need to know to build your own website.
