you might find something out about yourself that you didn't know or discover a strength that you didn't know you had.

No. I don't think it's stupid. You are fortunate to know what you want to do as a career and also to know your strengths and weaknesses. However, I don't think very many people know that, and it very well might direct some people to satisfying careers that they might not be aware of if not for the tests.

It's so cool that you already know what you want to be. Congratulations! I wish I'd known at your age, but I didn't.

If I were you, I'd go ahead & take the test because that might help you find what you'd like to specialize in within your chosen field, or maybe even give you a Minor to your Major for college.

I don't think it's stupid because the more you can learn about yourself, the more confident & assured you'll be throughout life.

Good that you already know your own plans, but it might be good to take the test anyway, as it might give you some additional ideas, in case either your tastes change in the next few years, or your chosen career doesn't work out for some reason. At least it can't do any harm, can it?

They claim that the earlier you know what you are 'suited for' in life, the earlier you can begin to make plans - like taking courses suitable for your future career. I think it's a bunch of bunk, but I'm just a person with an IQ of 148. Maybe you have to be smarter than that to understand the logic.

I wouldn't say stupid, you may find out you have an aptitude for something you hadn't considered yet. And like you said, you're only in the 8th grade so why not keep your options open? Good luck to you hon!

Well, it can't hurt to take it, right ? Apptitude tests are fun, and you don't have to take the results as written in blood. Keep an open mind, and you may find out you have strengths you are not aware of !

well i dont think its stupid, i guess schools do this to help kids stay focused on their goals and away from "other" distractions such as drugs and stuff like that maube they feel that if u think about these things it will keep u headed in the right direction and i think it works. you should take it and u never know u might really find out more options for ur future

I took this test in school back in the day. Yeah, I thought i knew what I wanted to do, too. But the tests proved correct. Do it for fun if nothing else!
