I'm not sure of the exact price, but they say it's one of the world's highest priced champagnes. It's currently only available in limited quantities through direct arrangements with the importer. Armand de Brignac's, "Ace of Spades", Champagne is set for an early November release. My cost as a buyer for a major hotel chain is almost $300.00 a bottle. That would price the bottle for about $400 to $500 retail and upwards of $750 to $1,000 + a bottle for restaurants and bars.
Also it's a very limited release right now because they have only sold in France, so look for the bottles to go quick...

Around Xmas time I read an article in a magazine where they compared champagnes by doing a taste test. They had Krug, Bollinger, etc...the more expensive brands and taste tested them with lesser cheaper brands here in the UK. The taste test came out as being won by a supermarkets own brand which you could get at a fraction of the price. That was the one I then bought!! Price doesn't always get you quality!! Most times you are paying for the packaging and the name.
