it will come down to what did Wesley know and when did he know it....
then again, he signs the tax returns.

I'm sure he'll spend a few months in jail, someone will knit him a poncho and he'll come out and have a cooking show and be ALLLLRIGHTY!

Wesley Snipes should go to jail, at least for a little while. He didn't just squander away a little bit of money, he went out of his way to avoid paying a large sum of taxes that he KNEW he owed. Common middle income people end up not paying their taxes because they underpaid during the year and then CAN'T pay up when the time comes. They shouldn't go to jail.

Mr. Snipes, on the other hand, is a MULTI-MILLIONAIRE and has money. His only motivation for breaking the law is GREED, while most common Americans break tax laws because of a lack of money or sometimes irresponsibility or ignorance, not greed.

If the Fair Tax law was passed, none of this would happen. Everyone would pay a set percentage through sales tax and be done with it. The rich would no longer be able to use loopholes in the system to unfairly avoid taxes. There would be no more IRS. Rich, Middle Class or Poor, everyone pays the same percentage.

Just because other people do it doesn't mean that it's right. It's the law! He should go to jail. If everybody else was murdering people does it mean that it's right? No. A law is a law. It shouldn't be broken by the President down to the beggar in the street.

I really can't believe someone could be so stupid. If American History teaches us one thing its "pay Uncle Sam." They always collect, sorta like the mob.
