Fixed Front Fairing for motorcycles: Good or Bad?
Is a fixed front fairing good?
This fairing is fixed to the frame, independent of the handlebar and does not turn with the handle. As such, the headlamp also does not turn with the handle. Is this a good thing or better technology for the bike?

fixed is best takes a little time to get used to, but better for stopping wind , have not found any problems with the light not going when you turn the handle bars, had on mine for 3 years now, before that have had handlebar mounted for 30 OD year but will not go back now.

Fixed is better. The weight is on the frame instead of directly on the front suspension and does not shift when turning. I noticed a lot more stability. The headlight thing takes a little getting used to, but is not bad.

Fixed is better. The crosswinds hitting the fairing won't be trying to turn your forks.

fixed is better, it cuts the wind better (more arrowdynamic) shifting weight is a factor also, but at high speeds it cuts wind better, on a fork mounted fairing you can get a wobble where you will not on a fixed

I personally prefer mine to turn. Although, at highway speeds it doesn't matter alot.

fixed is better, otherwise the weight turns when you steer and can affect your steering
