It's my favorite season. There is nothing more beautiful than the contrast of the turning leaves against the crisp blue October sky.

Yes I love autumn and winter too, I love going for walks on cold crisp autumn days when the leaves are covered in frost and you walk through them and they crunch under your feet, love the sound it makes, in the evening you can close your curtains on the world, turn the lights down low, light a few candles and snuggle up with the one you love just talking and dreaming about your plans for the future, your next holiday, whatever, in the coldness of the winter you can do all the same things as you can in the autumn but have a bit more fun either building snowmen or chucking snowballs and walking through virgin snow is great.

I love both, I love how Autumn slips in from being so hot from the summer, when the leaves on the trees start changing, beautiful, just awesome. Then its Halloween, visiting haunted houses, dressing up to be anyone or anything u like, trick or treaters, Here comes Thanksgiving, give all the praise what life means to you and especially what you are thankful for............Now here comes winter...........AHH!!!!!! Winter, Snow and Christmas, for me that means laying in front of the fireplace with my honey, cuddling, snowball fights with the kids... just being happy....but most of all Christmas..........love it- love it- love it...snow......smiles on the kids faces, being with family.....the day Christ was born.........Fantastic what more can you want.........Autumn and Winter the best time of the year for me ....the best holidays........even though I am a spring baby (born in April) I love the end of the year....Today it is 70 degrees, Autumn hasn't started just yet even though it is October 18th, but I know its coming, I am looking forward to all the fun that is due .............VERY SOON !!!!!!!!!

Autumn is wonderful, for the many reasons already listed. Winter is a different matter. Nasty unless you have the luxury of being indoors or when there is plenty of snow.

Especially in the Valley of the Sun in south central Arizona, the long hot summer begets a mild but lovely albeit brief winter - every fleeting, sun-bright day is a treasure.

I love it too! The mist, the murk, that moist, cold smell in the air.

Don't get me wrong, I like spring and summer too, but it's nice to see autumn and winter roll around too.

Hurrah for seasons! (Glad I don't live in California)
