The land deal part of it is chump change. The real crime was voting in favor of federal land swaps which directly benefitted his partner in the land sale.
The ethics rule of a conflict of interest (voting on something that his partner would benefit from) was clearly violated. He never reported he "sold" the property to the "partnership" because that would have meant revealing the name of his partner who was being investigated by the Justice Department. It also would have forced him to recuse himself from the land swap vote.

Far left demos like Reid have a double standard at work. Thier party feels like they're better than you and me. Now with this real estate scam of his, this could change things. Also in a poll taken in Nevada recently he didn't fair to well.

Give it up. Many, not all, but many Democrats cannot take their own to task for bad behavior. Just look at the answers here trying to change the subject to Foley. Most Republicans have spoken out strongly against Foley's behavior and also believe that if it was covered up those responsible should resign. However Democrats are not even willing to wait for the investigation to be completed, they have appointed themselves judge and jury and have deemed everyone in the Republican party guilty. It is hypocrisy, but pointing it out is useless because they cannot face it and they certainly cannot admit. The liberal rule is do as I say not as I do.

We're too busy trying to uncover the truth about Repub. House Speaker Dennis Hastert's cover up of child molestation by Republican congressman Mark Foley. Oh, and since we're on the topic of corruption, how about the fact that Halliburtan received billions of our tax dollars to reconstruct Iraq by having contracts handed to him on a silver platter by this administration which he is second in rank of? You call the Dems hypocrites? Touche little person.... Touche!

If you are truly sick of it and wont to change things. then get informed on the issues and the candidates. Then vote for who is honest and intelligent enough to do the job. Don't vote the party line what ever party it is. And share your info with your friends and family.Vote for good Government and you will get it. Eventually. VOTE SMART

I'm still trying to figure out how the Democranks turned lurid e-mails into child molestation? Did you read some of these dopey replies? If I recall, Gerry Studds was porking a page from behind and those hypocrits in the Democrankie Party stood behind him 100% (I bet that some of them even stood in front of him, grippin' their ankles) and that was just Peachy-Keenie, but Foley sends some suggestive material OVER THE FREAKIN' INTERNET, and that's child molestation? Do these boogers even read what they write?

Resin is that sticky stuff that gets on your hands from trees. Harry Reid is kind of sticky, but I think you mean resign.

I don't think he is a gymnast so he does not need resin.. or a violinist for the matter.
Although as a politician we see that he does have sticky fingers!

resign?
Politicians represent the largest job career of convicted felony rates.
No other career comes close unless its the MOB.
I believe a criminal conviction should auto force resignation or congress auto removes that person.
I believe they are sworn to uphold that office.
Criminal activity is not acceptable--unless you are a politician,
