When a co-worker's RELATIVE calls your job and says they won't be in for a few days, do u think they r in jail

I actually call the BOOKING INFORMATION to verify. TWO out of TWO times they were IN JAIL. (you know young people and NO DRIVERS LICENSES AND WARRANTS!). I know it's wrong, but oh duh!

Usually we're concerned why a relative would call. We did have a new employee last month that didn't show up for work because he was in jail. He's back at work.

I would probably think so too,
But then I would probably klaugh, and when and IF they do come back to work, give 'em nothing but sh*t!!!

either they are in jail, or in for a kinky night and just lost the cuff key. It's not a relative that called you, it really was a hooker, lol, :)

Besides jail you can also think the possibility of a death in the family or of a friend. when a person is upset they dont want to talk to anyone.

just a few times had others call in, but were in the hospital or worse yet, had passed on, due to car accident or some other tragic thing

In jail or in the hospital would be my guess...but chances are, they are most likely in jail...
