I normally get around 7 or 8 hours a night

by the way, im a psychology major and yahoo answers really isnt a reliable method to gather information. you should print out questionnaires and give them to people that you know rather than to a bunch of strangers online that could make up information.

medically they say u do good with 10 hours of sleep.but i seem to do great with just 6.
i have Severe Insomia just so you know so i dont get much sleep a night.but it round about to 5-6 hours.
