Foggers do work, but may not kill all the eggs.
You will have to fog again in about 3-4 days to
kill the newly hatched fleas. Make sure all ignition
sources are out, pilot lights, heaters, furnace etc.
No pets or people in house when fogging. If you
have a fish tank, cover it with newspaper. Wipe
down all food prep and serving areas when done.
Place newspaper under each fogger to catch spray.
Use frontline or equivalent on your pets to prevent
re-infestation. Nasty little buggers aren't they.

Well, the store bought foggers worked for me. Our cat infested our home. I had to fog 3 times about 3 days apart to get rid of them. We bought Advantage for our cat and dose her monthly and now no more fleas. I also dust her with an anti flea dust before letting her out for her weekly run. I haven't seen a flea in over 10 months now.

From my experience the prescription medicine you get from the vet works the best. I tried foggers, flea sprays, durisban, you name it and it didn't seem to make a difference. I got the prescription stuff at the vet and I think there are several different brands and it was like a miracle. No more fleas. The way it was explained to me the prescription stuff sterilizes the fleas because its the eggs that come back to haunt you no matter how many live fleas you kill.

YES YES YES!!!
but don't use the ones you find at a regular store or at the vets. look in the yellow pages for a do-it-yourself pest extermination place. i have two cats and they got fleas in the worst way. as soon as i would open the door to my apartment, i had fleas up to my waist, on my arms, EVERYWHERE! i tried all the "over the counter" flea foggers, even tripling up on the recommended use. for three months nothing worked until i called up a do-it-yourself place and after one treatment (about $19 and 4 hrs) every flea was gone and i haven't seen a single one since. the one i used leaves something in the carpet that keeps on killing the fleas for three months.
bottom line: they work, but don't waste your time- use a professional formula

My ex-wife had the same problem. She put a fogger in every room. Left the house for 3 hours. Came back and treated the carpets and vacuumed. The fleas were gone. Once they are gone, and you have eliminated the source, they shouldn't come back. I have a dog and two cats, have never had fleas.

foggers work crappy and cover small areas(unless you buy a whole bunch)we ordered the flea stuff you buy online for the dogs(well worth the money)then went to our local hardware store and bought the flea and tic insecticide in a large1 gallon container with a spray top and sprayed the floors, you will need to do it again in in three weeks, maybe less, you'll know when! the name of the product is ENFORCER FLEA SPRAY FOR HOMES.lasts for 7 months, kills fleas, ticks and flea eggs.go to web site www.enforcer.com

Frontline your pets first, Diazonon your yard, then buy foggers from the vet. You have to treat EVERYTHING..
Last year we bought some mulch from a building center and a day after spreading it, the dogs starting scratching. Frontline 1st, Lawn next, then the house.

All pets have to be out of the house. You need to leave for about 2-3 hours with them. It works ok, but you have to use it at least every 3 months. I'd rather get a professional to do it.

it does not work if the infestation is immense. try these extreme measures: shave your pets ( i am sure you have them) change your carpets. buy frontline for your pets.
good luck.
