Neo-cons are nothing if they're not determined to pick the wrong man for the job? Is there no-one who will take responsiblity for this? It's like someone giving a driving job to a drunk. They knew it wouldn't be safe.... but now he's caught and 'phew' glad it wasn't anybody elses fault.

Foley "cut and run" into "rehab" to avoid the public wrath. What else could we have expected from scum like that?

What do you mean "is there no one who will take responsibility for this"?! Foley has resigned. He has taken responsibility for his own actions be removing himself from office just two hours after having been confronted with the illicit IMs by a reporter. He should and will be prosecuted. Far better individual actions than Gary Studds for the same crimes - sexual misconduct with pages.

As for who knew what, when, who covered up and who should pay... That is just media fodder and liberal salivation to sound the drum beat just weeks away from an election. If the media and Democrats were "so concerned for the children", why did they shop the story more than 8 months ago, waiting until... wait for it... just weeks before the election to break the story.

no matter the status or party of criminals, they need to be treated the same. if republican house leader commits the same crime as democrat reprasentitive and the republican is treated much worse, then who is too say that that isn't party harrasment? the punishment should be based on the crime not the person.
