We all know that Harvard has a great reputation as a university. This time, I want to know which one is the best for photography.

I went to Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Science in Santa Barbara, CA. Good school. International student body. Beautiful town in which to learn. The Art Institute in Los Angeles used to be good as well. As to a major university, I would say maybe UCLA.

The above answerer had some good suggestions. I would, however, point out that Brooks Institute does offer courses in math, science, english, etc. They do tend to make the course apply to the subject of photography, though. When I went there, I had to already have a certain number of college credits in math, English and some other subjects I can't remember now. I think I had to already have 16 or 18 specific credit hours before I could even enroll.

I would say RISD(Rhode Island School of Design), Brooks Institute of Photography or any of the Art Institutes. They all offer a lot but are quite pricey. The best thing about it is 99.5% of there students get high paying jobs with good companies like pixar or microsoft..if you can afford it, Id' definetly do it. Plus the school just teaches you things about what you want to do, you don't need to like take this college math and college english, just specify in your career.

Good luck:)
