the online pregnancy calendar says that i am in my 4th week, is that true, I would have thought it would be my third week? Any input?

Your pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period. So say I'm 8.5 weeks right now, I've only been pregnant for 6.5 weeks. It's weird, but who are we to change it....lol

That's why drs allow two weeks on either side of the EDD (estimated due date) because the could be off. That is also why they consider 38 wks to be full term and most drs won't induce or do a c-section until 2 wks after the edd.

Dates in pregnancy all start from the start of your last period.

Therefore you are in your 4th week.

Only 36 to go.

You are in your fourth weeks going into your fifth because trackers, doctors, and most medical sites go from yoru last mestral period, and not the date you concieved.

They count your weeks from the START date of your last period.
