I like to do 10 minutes of light cardio to warm up the ligaments and concentrate on my weight workout. Sometimes I ride the bike or even take laps around the walking track.

Once in a while, I would perform a 15-20 minute cardio session at higher intensity just to prevent my body from adjusting to a set routine. Once everything is loosened up, I perform my weight workout and then perform cardio afterwards to wind down.

Cardio is important to start with, i have been training since a loooong time, and now i stopped doing cardio cuz lifting weights in a massive weight needs all the energy and not to lose any in other training.

So it counts on what you r doing in lifting weights and depends on your need and how u need your body to be

Yes do cardio first. Its best to warm up your mucles and the body. This will then help with your weight lifting in getting the maximum amount of strength to your various parts of focus.

Its usually better to lift and then do your cardio because your muscle fibers and cells have been torn and open so you burn fat faster. if your worried about warming up your muscles then just do set of 8-10 reps with a light weight and dont include it in your workout reps.
