YES! That's exactly how I felt with the passing of time.
I no longer wonder WHAT happened to my 20's etc; I KNOW for they disappeared into a dim recess of a thing known as a PAST!!!!!
The funny thing is, life is like a movie; a personal one, and you're in it, but you're also the audience!!! You're sitting there, watching as all these things happen to you, but YOU still feel the same as you ever did; even as time is moving on!

Heck no, I don't. I loved my 20's.. I did the clubin scene, hung out with my friends, came draggin home at 4 am, rushed off to some retail job and spent my money on the latest fashions...I enjoyed it very much. But I was always on the edge of being broke. Lived with my parents and well.. was immature as 20 somethings tend to be. Then I loved my 30's.. was more independent and making my own way in life, figuring out my finances and bought my first house. Now I am 41 and life is better now then when I was 20 something. I bought my second house, have money in the bank and total independence to do what I want when I want. I look better at 41 then I did at 20 something and can better handle life's situations, and relationships. I can only imagine 50 will be even better and 60 better still.

I'm in my early 40's, but my situation is alot different than yours. I have no kids and I've only been married 5 years. And yes I wonder where all the years have gone. 20's to 30's was a difficult transition, but for me it was because I was going into my 30's and still looking for that special man. Transitioning into 40 was not that difficult really. I'm more secure in myself as a person, I have a great husband that loves be to death even though it took me a while to find him. I would say my biggest problem now is what have I accomplished in my life and what is my legacy. What will I be remembered for?

HeeHee...I'm in my 50's and I wonder where did it all go to?And I realize now that each transition was a stepping stone to grow into my next stage of life, and what a life I was blessed to have...read my profile. My past I believe is my greatest asset. It is what has helped me to shape my today. Would I change any of it? No. Because all that I have lived through and survived has brought me to the person I am today. And even though there will be rough times, it's just this thing called LIFE, maybe with past experiences, I can help someone else who's going through the same or close to the same thing.

I feel the same way and have a lot of laughs over what a moron I was in my 20s. There are cool things about being any age; even when you're 70 there will be fun to have. My best advice is start a retirement plan and get the compounded interest going so you can have a seriously long term vacation later on!

I agree with you. My 20's are a blurr because I partied like a rock star....hahaah.I am 36 now and I have LOVED my 30's thus far. I still go out and have fun but I am older now and not such a spaz. I know I will remember my 30's as way better then my 20's.

I ask myself that, but I am still in my late 20's. Sometimes I wish I could go back 5 years.
