Sounds wonderful! I think I would string the leaves first and then hang them to dry before I added them to the garland.

Buy dried bay leaves or hang fresh ones upside down in a dry, cool spot. e.g. a closet or cabinet.

You could hang them upside down, either by a piece of tape stuck to a cabinet or something, or by clothespins on an indoor clothesline.

you could set them in a window cill where the sun can hit them, or stick m in the oven for a while, just keep a close eye on them. there is always the natural way, throw them on the roof!!
