Adult: Halloween III: Season of the Witch. It has nothing to do with the other Halloween movies but it is a really good movie to watch on Halloween.
Kids: When Good Ghouls Go Bad. This movie is great fun to carve pumpkins while watching and was written by R.L. Stine of Goosebumps fame. It even has Christopher Lloyd as a zombie.

The Shining, I know it's not a Halloween movie, but that one is the only movie that has really ever spooked me. I watched it alone in the dark............BOO! Seriously one of my old time favorites is the Exorcist, 13 Ghosts, Carrie, or just about anything by Steven King. Oh and don't forget the new classic "Scream"

If you want a really good scare - SLEEPY HOLLOW!!! Tim Burton at his creepy best & Johnny Depp is awesome in this role!!! Good & spooky - tons of atmosphere - doesn't get any better than that for Halloween!! Trick or Treat!!!! Happy Halloween!!!!!
p.s. - Signs would be a great one to watch, too - lots of suspense & drama! Not to mention Joaquin Phoenix & Mel Gibson!
