Polyphony just means there's multiple voices or parts, so playing polyphonic on a piano is very easy. Say you play a C-chord, which has 3 voices - C, E, G - since it has more than one voice it's polyphonic. An instrument like a clarinet, which can only play one note at a time, is considered monophonic.
