First off Columbus discovered america. And he was white. I am so sick and tired of the natives saying this is thier land.

Yes their were natives who came here and tried to take over land, but americans won the land fair and square.

WITHOUT THE CASINOS AND ALL THE GOVERMENT HANDOUTS THEY WILL NEVER MAKE IT ON THIER OWN..

AND WHO REALLY CARES WHO DISCOVERED AMERICA. AMERICA STANDS FOR WHITE PEOPLE. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVE MARRIED ANOTHER RACE AND YOU ARE WHITE. WELL YOUR SPOUSE AND CHILDREN WILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY. THE UNITED STATES IS FOR WHITE PEOPLE. WE DO NOT GO INTO OTHER COUNTRIES AND DEMAND THIS AND THAT. I have to agree that we are TOO accommodating with illegal and some legal immigrants. If you wanted to live here so bad, get used to AMERICA, don't try to change it. Why leave your country if you're going to just try to make America change to be more like it? I understand that it can be hard to learn a different language..but please abide by OUR laws and atleast try to speak english, this is America. As for like 'Latino pride ' protests and stuff like that..once again, if you're so proud of your culture why are you here? Why won't you support the land you live in? Its like me running in the streets with thousands of Irish people, saying that America should be run more like Ireland and that we don't get appreciated enough. No. I'm proud to be an American, and if you're not, you shouldn't be here.

First off Columbus didn't discover America, how do U discover a land that is already inhabited? Second, the Europeans came here and stole the land from the Indians who had no problems with the Europeans being here, until the Europeans got greedy and wanted the land all to themselves, and murdered them. Tell me how that is fair and square? To kill off a whole race of people just for a piece of land. History books don't tell the entire story, only what they want U to know. What school did you go to? I'll bet you rode the short bus didn't you. First of all, Columbus was not white, he was Italian. Second of all, he didn't discover America, he discovered Cuba. Third, native Americans were here WAY before America was "discovered" and whites came and stole their land away from them. Why do you think the government continues to give them special rights? They are given crappy land to live on and can open casinos when nobody else can just so they can support themselves and not live in poverty. Why don't you learn some facts before you start spouting your stupidity.

There are a number of myths, which some americans continue to harbour as fact.
1) Columbus did not discover America first. (see Stone age French, Norwegion Vikings, Henry the Navigator.
2) The Americans did not win the War of Independence. (The Brit officers capitulated to their german king.)

3) The Statue of Liberty being a french woman does not need a veil.

As I remember My school books Columbus was NOT the first man here - The Indians were here first and the white man stole there land by killing ,starving, and forcing them onto reservations .
The Indians should of just let the white man starve and freeze to death the first year they were here - then there would not be all this white power crap now !!

first of all it's been shown that Columbus never landed on North American soil and the Native American Indiana was already settled here, most likely coming from Asia by way of Alaska, but they were here first.

Actually, Vikings hit America before us and Columbus was Italian wasn't he? Anyway, I do know what you mean-reverse predjudice. We didn't win America, like many other nations and people- we took it or bought it at a rip off price. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.
