This is not an age of sentimentalism. Gone are the days when people were interested on novels flowing with sentiments and love. The novels these days, will have to be simple and straight forward and narrating the story in an uncomplicated manner. Even now, I love R.K. Narayan for his simple and wise narrative style.

For me, books that are poignant and make you cry. People love to cry. Novels that just make you feel like you are really there. Novels that rip your heart right out and tear at your emotions through and through. That's the type of book I love.
