Hey there. Thanks for taking the time. Wondering if anyone knows anything about the reliability of this make/model, and have any idea where to get online reviews of the bike. Im looking at purchasing a used one with low miles. Aware of the recall on the kickstand and belt tensioner, which has been done already.

Whats a fair price? And is the bike worth purchasing? I will use it to commute and for sport riding.

THANKS!! Best gets ten points and my eternal gratitude (which is worthless here, but its all I can offer!)

I understand that they are pieces of junk, compared to the jap bikes of similar value. I would recommend something like a Kawasaki ZX-10 or a Yamaha R1 or Suzuki GSXR 1000 before the Buell XB9R.

I read an article on the XB9R as compared to these other bikes in Sport Rider magazine a few months back, and they said if at all possible, steer clear of the Buell - it's not nearly as fun as the others.

Good luck!

Buells Rock!!!! The "big" Buells are very nice bikes. We haven't had any real problems with ours. Unless you call needing new tires often cuz we ride the hell out of them. My husband has 96 S2 and he loves it.

If the bike hasn't been down and everything is kosher about 4 or 5K would be quite fair. The bike is ABSOLUTELY worth buying.

This is what I always say about my Buell....its the most fun you can have on two wheels!!!!

BTW...I have over 40K on mine and I love it as much today as the day I bought it.

no brainer dude or googling it.

Buells are cool to say the very least..however why would you want to pay car prices for one?
