They cannot. I don't think they can help America either. I cannot seem to determine exactly what my party stands for these days. I am a Dem and was proud to state as much at one time. How can the Democratic party help me when they cannot seem to make a stand together on anything except that Republicans are bad. That's not a platform I can stand behind. I have no idea how I am going to vote. No, my party cannot help me or the nation. It's unbelievably disturbing.

It depends. If you are talking about a Democrat or a Republician neither one is going to help you. We need a full force independant or middle ground in our system if you want any "true" help. It's time to vote them ALL out and start over. They would get the message then.
