I am pregnant and not a teenager. I don't qualify for goverment programs because I have no other children. I'm not poor, but don't have extra cash to spend on having a baby. I need everything from furniture to diapers and baby clothes. I know some would say that I shouldn't have the baby in the first place, but, I have liver cancer and her stem cells will be a match for me. We didn't know I was pregnant until she was 4 months in my tummy. Turned out to be a miracle baby. Now I need help to pay for it. I can handle all the medical costs, and the things that come that way, but, I can't really do much else. Its sad, if i was broke with no job and lots more kids I would qualify for goverment assistance. But, I dont want to go that route. I just want information on how I can get some free stuff without pity. If you have any information on how I can do that it would help a lot. I would be willing of course to PAY IT FORWARD. PLEASE HELP!! thank you.

All the free sites below are good places to go to.

You can also register for free formula samples at these websites I have below:

Hope these help you.

Well, praise the Lord for you little miracle. Take good care of her and let her know what a blessing she is to you and your family and how she helped save you.

You know, I had a friend in High School who, once married was also diagosed with cancer, her Mother got pregnant just to save her life. Talk about a miracle baby and sister!

Also, have a family member or friend or your church throw you a baby shower....

Best way for free things is having a baby shower!!thats what people have them for to help get the new mommy started and ull get alot of what ure talking about there jsut register what u need (crib, changing table, toys, bath tub, etc) and people take stuff u need off ure list for you!! dont be modest these are popluar and great for getting the things u need for free!!WIC they are lifesavers they can help you with a majority of things (free formula, diapers, etc) and the things they cant help u with these can: note to self CONSIGNMENT stores!!! good ones have alot and they dont put crap on the shelves like most good will stores ive been to! believe me i wasnt in direstraits but i was not going to spend 1000s on new thigns that were temporary. Also hand me downs...we went to a garage sale and got an old diaper changing table we sanded it down and staind it. NO ONE ever knew it. Think crafty and abuse consignments stores half the stuff is practically brand new!! Good luck and congrats on ure little miracle!!

Not judgement intended here, but you may qualify for WIC. You can make a far amont of money and still qualify for it. Try calling some of the local churches in your area to see if they might help you. There are alot of free baby websites that may also be able to help you. For low cost stuff you could try e-bay and shop at second hand baby stores. Good luck to you!

there is this group on yahoo called freecycle, they are basically people in different communities that post stuff on their sites free of charge, bascially things they no longer want or need and would end up donating or throwing away, also if you go to many of the formula websites(such as www.enfamil.com) they will send samples and also coupons for formula. also when my daughter was a baby i bought all her clothing at good will and salvation army, especially around holidays they usually have everything on sale since babies grow out of clothes so quickly they really dont need really fancy stuff. you can usually get some good furniture and stuff there.

Will friends/family throw a baby shower for you? If so make sure you register for the things you need at someplace like Baby Depot or Babies R Us. Also check out Parenting Magazine, they used to have a card that you could send in for samples of formula and stuff. It may not be much but it sounds like anything will help you. Best of luck to you!

You wouldn't qualify unless you were making too much money
It does not matter how many children you have?
You can go to a catholic charity, they might be able to help you, ask you doctor's office, look online for things in your state.

First let me get this straight: You're having a child just to get stem cells for your cancer? Alrighty...

Well, there are plenty of free things to sign up for but nothing that will truly save you any money. You can't get cribs, carseats, strollers, playpens, swings, and all the millions of things you need for a baby for free. You can, however, get free samples of things like formula and infant cereal. Try beechnut.com. I've gotten a free bib and bowl from them before. Enfamil mails me coupons for free formula and I've also received 2 cans of formula from them before.
