my cousin a file from my windows media player..when he gets it, it tells him incorrect format..what do i have to do to change a mpg file to this correct format?

you will need a video editing program like Adobe Premier pro where you will have to change the file extension to read .mpg, .mpeg or .vts for DVD format
and windows media player will respond
