You didn't offer very much info like price range, etc, but... You can't go wrong with a later model first generation Dakota, say '94-'96. They have more room than a mini-truck inside and in the bed, are fairly inexpensive and dependable.

I would further recommend a 3.9 V6 with a 5-speed transmission. No matter what others may tell you, gas mileage is good. I currently have a '95 with over 250k miles on it that is flogged mercilessly. It gets bracket raced, it does long interstate runs with the cruise set at 90+ mph regularly and drags trailers around town almost every day. In almost 100k miles of ownership, I have NEVER seen less than 20 mpg (I keep close records on all my vehicles) and when being driven by my wife, I once saw just under 26 mpg for a tankful.

Based on past experience, I'd have to say that the Ranger is the most reliable but my favorite is the Dakota because I'm a pretty big guy and the Dakota offers more room and power than other compact/mid size pickups. The problem with the Dakota is poor mpg, the Ranger is the best at that. I don't know much about what you need but I recommend these two above all else. As for the year, go for newer models especially now since Ford extended its warranty.

I somewhat have well-known many females who've drove %. united statesa. their well-known motorcar. I also retired from a Ford Truck plant, and we made the automobiles. truly some those females had farms and used the automobiles for the farm too. some had horses and used the truck to tug trailers. one of those motives, yet all of them loved their automobiles. As to why extra females don'tchronic automobiles, who's familiar with?
