Yes but she would have had a hard time anyway. She was on Saved by the Bell & the audience has a hard time disassociating actors with characters. While watching Showgirls, all I was thinking was how Jessie Spano was sure grown up now!!!

I don't know why she was so viciously criticized for that movie when it wasn't even her fault.
She's not a director or writer. She's just an actress who tried a very difficult role, and got royally smacked down for taking a chance.
You can tell I'm in love with her.

No, she couldn't find work BEFORE that after saved by the bell. She did that movie to try to get work but it failed. She sucks as an actress.

I read that she caught so much flack for it that she left...Too bad...I loved her in Showgirls...but somehow Paris becomes infamous (and adored???) for her little internet video?????
