So long as it's choclolate....AND big chocolate. As a Halloweening veteran, have someone give you a bag of like six mini chocolate bars or the one big one you get an A+++....
And probably you'll get tons more people the next year!!!!

Give the good stuff like candy bars and bubble gum. AND not the cheap bubble gum either!
Stay far away from smarties, cheap jaw breakers and any kind of candy that come clumped together in an economy bag.
We had some really wealthy people in our town and when you rang their door bell you got a full sized candy bar. We loved those people.

It all depends on how much money you want to spend. I always give out chocolate because I remember when I was a kid. i would get so happy when they would give me chocolate. We also like to make a little haunted house for them and we dress up all scary and scare them. They love it so much. Maybe you should do a haunted house so you could be the coolest in the neighborhood.. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Make up little Halloween bags w/ a small variety of candy. Reese's cups, Snickers, Milky Ways,Kit Kat's, and my personal favorite as a kid...candy cigarettes.

Does it matter? Kids love candy! Although, if you wanted to be loved and cherished, give the kids goody bags, with a big variety of candies.

My rule of thumb is never give out candy that you wouldn't eat yourself. I usually give mini candy bars and that seems to be a big hit.

Something that is sealed at the factory so the kids don't have to be afraid to eat it. It's a shame and makes me sick that parents have to inspect all the kids candy to protect them from the idoits today.
