i really want to learn. i want to teach myself. i have been reading on how to read music but how do i take that and play the key. its hard but i want to learn so badly. please help.

Take lessons. Try calling your nearest high school and ask to speak to the music teacher. Ask that person if they have any recommendations for a piano teacher in your area. The referrals from a high school teacher are usually pretty good and not very expensive. Also, go to the music store and purchase a beginners workbook for about $5 which should help you as well. Find yourself a good teacher (www.google.com) in your area to teach you. Teachers will teach you correct posture, hand position, and start you on a proper repetoire.
If teachers are out of your pocket range and you are still in school (pre-college), ask your music teacher. If you are in college, ask a music student. :)
