I am an average girl, not too pretty, not too smart...the one that blends in with a crowd and hardly gets noticed...I get along with everyone fine, and people generally like me because I am friendly and a nice person to be with. I dont belong to the cool crowd or the 'un-cool' crowd...i wear proper clothing and never wear any revealing things.
Throughout my teens (from when I was 13), this guy has constantly kept bullying me for no reason...he makes vulgar comments...I ignored him.....he still didnt stop, so I complained to the principal and he stopped for a while...i even comfronted him once and asked the reason for his behaviour...but he didnt want to have a conversation with me
Then i found out that he comes to the same college as me...and the comments started once again...i am now 19, about to start my further education and have been dealing with this problem as maturely as i can: i just ignore him whenever he bullies me
Why does he do this..and am i doing the right thing

Youarejinxed, i cried the first time he bullied me ( i was only 13) and after that i made myself much stronger, and he cant physically see that im listening to his comments or getting affected by him....i guess he wants to make sure that i'm hearing his nasty remarks

He may be picking on you just because he made you cry once.
It seems to make him feel masculine and macho.
I pity any poor woman who ever gets involved with him. She is sure to have a wretched life.
Go see an attorney. You can get a restraining order and even sue him for harrassment, just as has already been mentioned.

Yeah, he's probably too much of a coward to admit that he likes you, so he takes the childish route and teases you. Ignoring is usually the best way, because supposedly if you do this, the bully will see he isn't affecting you and will get bored and THUS give up. BUT, you should try talking to him again, maybe by now he has matured somewhat and will give you a good reason for his childish ways.

Been bullied that long, & now in collage, well I,m sorry I think I would snap. I,d go up to him & try my best to beat the crap out of him, it might shock him so bad, he,ll stop doing what he,s doing. Then again it might go the other way, but at least we,d get something out in the open, & just keep saying I,m fed up with this.

Get a lawyer and get a restraining order.
Sue him for Harrassment.
Sue the pants off him and then have him arrested for indecent exposure.
He is an adult now and can be held accountable.
See if you can nail him for stalking you.
Get as many witnesses as you can.
DO all this legally. Do not assault him. That will get you into trouble.

He doesn't stop because he knows that he's getting to you. You have to make a statement to him that tells him that you're over his crap.
The next time he bothers you, walk up to him and kick him in the balls - as hard as you can. When he's on the ground, kick him in the stomach.
Before you walk away, tell him that next time, youwon't stop until he's bleeding and unconscious.
If you're arrested for this, explain in court that he's been harassing you for years and you were acting in self-defense - beg for a restraining order, for either you or him (tell the judge that you don't care who gets it, as long as you don't have to see him).
Regardless of what happens, he won't bother you again.

i had a girl do this to me once. Then at a party i asked her why she was such a bith to me, she couldn't answer either. couple days later her and a good friend of mine both died in a car wreck, it sucked. still does five years later. I think it was pretty much just a habit of hers, but i will never know.

He sounds like such an idiot. You could do something mean back to him like spread a rumour round college saying he has a small d**k or something. Doesn't sound like he understands your mature approach, maybe you should play him at his own game and hit him where it hurts!!!
