The neocons have been using it that way quite successfully for years. Then they cite the "Liberal Media" as a crying/yelling point.
The "Liberal Media" is a neocon ruse. Ain't no such thing, they go with the Republicans big time. There are some things they can't keep a lid on, like Foley, but to portray the Con-stricted media as liberal is paranoia run wild.

Absolutely. If they trust who says it and are only exposed to one side, then it can be dangerous.
What about Farenheit 911? That's a good example of fighting what the media says.
Sometimes I'll see a story about someone I know and I also know more than what's written. The media can really influence what we think, even if they're trying to tell the truth.

A lot yes. The fact is its are only source of information and they can easily decide what to say and what not 2 say. A typical example can be n. korean media. They say what they are told 2 say and as a result the people in N. Korea genuinely believe that the american government take part in genocide.

Since we depend more and more on the Media to inform us, we can be easily misled into believing fallacies. Politics has become
a Public Relations event, especially prior to elections. Sadly, many of our Politicians have been elected not on merit, but how well they looked on television.

Yes. Fox News has lied to the people and many believe what they were told. The result is the disastrous war, the biggest deficit in history, and a president who is brainless.

Indeed, most of people only take one shot on TV or new paper and never shop around to find out the truth.

Absolutely.....just look how CNN can turn a slow day news story into news that everyone talks about. You would never have heard that story on any other day.
