Lets call him "Kevin." He doesn't work anymore. Lives off his girlfriend, I'll call "Mary." Mary is not a good friend, as a matter of fact, I dissed her and changed my phone number. Kevin hates everything and everyone. Looks down his nose at anybody receiving any kind of financial aid. It just kills me that he thinks he is so wonderful and the rest of the world is sh**. Mary said he hasn't paid taxes in the last 10 years he worked. I don't want to tell but it just kills me. I know he will get his and I won't have to lift a finger and harm my own karma. What to do? What to do? Will you tell for me??

I can only imagine the struggle that you are going through. I know that you are going to hate this answer but you have to tattle in this case. My sister took my kids when i was real sick and she tried to take them off on her taxes, and we paid her to do it. As soon as i found out i called the IRS and told them that those are my children and we paid her to watch them, she did get in some trouble a fine plus pay back what she received from her taxes and she had to do community service and faced jail time but we pleaded with the judge and she did not go to jail. but the worst part is...we do not even talk or see each other anymore.
good luck do what your gut is telling you!!!

What's your motivation? Mary steal Kevin out from under you? It has to be something along those lines because what kind of gain is realized here if you do this?

Be vengeful. Go ahead. these things have a way of coming home to roost sometimes. You seem pretty assured you'll not be in harm's way. Never say never. That's bad karma.

It takes a lot of guts to make the call. I dimed out someone for getting SSI and working at the same time. When I did the person on the phone made me feel like I was the criminal. She wanted to know how I knew all this. Since I knew her SS# and date of birth and all the things that they usually ask. Now this person I dimed out is back to their old tricks again...but I'm not doing it again. This government needs to get a better system!!!

You have to understand something; nothing from nothing leaves nothing. Unless you pay into the system, you will get nothing out of it. People get over sort of speak for a time but it eventually catches up with them. This group I speak of includes everyone. The rich guy living in Beverly hills to the poor guy living on the street. Everyone pays for their misdeeds. In this situation you speak of; unless he/she is placing others in harms way I would not bother. They are only harming themselves. Yes I know he/she is costing the taxpayer but so is Bush and Chaney. I try not to waste my time concentrating what others are doing. All I can be concerned with is my family and myself.

No , its not your business to hassle with this issue .... If you do you may feel horrible in the long run ..... his actions will catch up with him , it may not seem like it but it will ........ its not your job to be ''the karma police'' .....and anyhow if you do try to report him you probally will be faced a ton of red tape and will be asking yourself whay are you even bothering ............This kind of P R I C K will get his just rewards they bigger they get the harder they fall .......dont worry just stay away from his negitive energy and if you really want you can probally Key up his car and karma wouldnt think any different of ya ........... what a jerk this guy is ..........good luck

Telling, deep down, will not make you feel better. A better alternative would be to move on with your life and not have him be any part of it. Greed only breeds greed and you are better than that. He will get his just reward in due time.

Report him to the IRS. Get his date of birth and SSN if you can. There maybe a reward for you too. Why should he be allowed to not pay taxes?

I would tell. He is living off of our taxes and getting a free ride. Turn him in.

That is up to you. The IRS gives a percentage of what it is able to collect to the person reporting the crime. I don't know if they can keep your name secret.
