any way to repair a deeply scratched dvd? a repair kit didn't work....?

have tried all the repair kits and none of them worked , but a video store in town has a resurfacing machine and charges 2 dollars apiece and i just brought 12 games back from there and he managed to fix 11 of them and they were all not working , also there are places online that resurface for cheap

The video store is the way to go.
