you will have to change the screen/monitor resolution to suite the icon font size that you want

By the way you ask the question you asked it, it can be two things.
The first is screen resolution which as the guy above me said can be changed by:
Right-click on desktop >>properties>>Settings>>[increasing or decreasing resolution by using the screen resolution thingy]
If you mean increasing the font size etc while keeping the same resolution, you have to:
Right-click on desktop>>properties>>Appearance>>and here there will be font-size>> which you can keep as Normal/Large/Extra-large as shown there.
